Guest Tutors 2018
This year we welcome a second fiddle teacher to Winter Trad alongside Ross. After much consulting with our past participants as to who would really blow them away we are lucky enough to announce that the incredible Shetland fiddle virtuoso Kevin Henderson (Nordic Fiddlers Bloc, Session A9) will be joining us this year all the way from Norway! Alongside Kevin we are proud to announce that all round flute and guitar virtuoso Phillipe Barnes (Crossharbour, David Munnely) joins us from London to teach both silver/wooden flute and DADGAD guitar (alternating with Tom). Both Kevin and Phillipe play a huge variation of different musics from around the world with influences from Scandinavia and Ireland as well as the Classical and Jazz genres. It's an honour to have these great musicians and great friends joining us to teach and perform.
